Late day sunlight creates a warm glow on a rock wall at Bryce Canyon National Park; a natural weathered hole in the formation draws the viewer's eye and delights them with a glimpse of the beauty of the distant snow dusted mountains.
Bryce Canyon is located in southwestern Utah, U.S.A. Famous for its unique geology, Bryce Canyon is truly a sight to see. Fascinating shapes created by the erosion of the limestone rock are enormous and varied. There are slot canyons, windows and spires called "hoodoos." A hike into the canyon reveals intriguing natural sculptures.
Bryce Canyon National Park is a small national park, and interestingly, it isn't a canyon at all. It is actually comprised of a series of more than a dozen amphitheaters, each of which is carved more than 1,000 feet into the limestone of the Paunsaugunt Plateau.
A short hike into the "canyon" can lead you on a wonderful adventure. Navigating treacherous icy slopes can lead you to the most spectacular scenery such as this incredible view.
Note: Fine Art America logo will not appear in your prints. Visualize this stunning image on your wall and enjoy the journey into Bryce Canyon, peeping into the window to see the wonders it holds.
