Featured: Natural Scenic Landscape
Late day sunlight creates a warm glow on a rock wall at Bryce Canyon National Park; a natural weathered hole in the formation draws the viewer's eye and delights them with a glimpse of the beauty of the distant snow dusted mountains.
Bryce Canyon is located in southwestern Utah, U.S.A. Famous for its unique geology, Bryce Canyon is truly a sight to see. Fascinating shapes created by the erosion of the limestone rock are enormous and varied. There are slot canyons, windows and spires called "hoodoos." A hike into the canyon reveals intriguing natural sculptures.
Bryce Canyon National Park is a small national park, and interestingly, it isn't a canyon at all. It is actually comprised of a series of more than a dozen amphitheaters, each of which is carved more than 1,000 feet into the limestone of the Paunsaugunt Plateau.
