A rock-strewn hillside is dominated by a massive boulder lightly decorated with bright green lichen. The hillside is topped with vibrant golden aspen leaves, that seem to glow as they are accentuated by a deep, blue sky.

It was my privilege to be one of three photographers to photograph then U.S. Vice President Al Gore receiving an award.
