Description
The reason I ventured to Honduras was to document a well-drilling mission to bring clean, safe, accessible water to a remote village. While in Honduras, I also wanted to capture the essence of the country and the culture.
Inside a crowded van, bouncing along on bumpy roads as we headed for the well-drilling site, I saw busy towns and lush, green countryside pass by my window. Along the way, I attempted to compose and capture iconic scenes of Honduras through images like, "The Simple Life."
Here, the greens of this tropical landscape dominant this peaceful scene; yet, the sunlight shining on the red bicycle draws the viewer's eye. Focusing on the bicycle reminds us of the simple life.
