A couple leisurely paddles a canoe on scenic Trillium Lake with Mt. Hood prominently featured in this wilderness landscape.
The image includes the inspiring quote by famous author and American naturalist, Henry David Thoreau, "We need the tonic of wildness... We can never have enough of nature."
This image highlighting the serene beauty of the Mt. Hood region in the state of Oregon, is part of the American West collection.
It was my privilege to be one of three photographers to photograph then U.S. Vice President Al Gore receiving an award. My work has been published nationally and internationally in books, magazines, newspapers, brochures and calendars. If you are interested in a travel article for your magazine or website, please email your request. I'd be delighted to work with you! I hope you will enjoy this selection of images and find something that's perfect for you!
